Muna D. Lobé

With a background in anthropology and comparative sociology, Muna has dedicated her career to connecting people and ideas through creative storytelling and strategic communication. For the past fifteen years, she has been at the forefront of developing marketing and media strategies, producing content, and curating cultural events that inspire dialogue and engagement.

In 2013, she founded AYA Consulting, a boutique communications firm, working with diverse organizations across Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. Her ability to create narratives that resonate led her to co-found the creative design studio 2 Heads 221 in Dakar, where she continued to influence the local creative scene. Muna has curated art exhibitions, produced film screenings, and organized conferences that bring together voices from all over the world.

In 2022, she joined Niyel, a woman-owned advocacy and public affairs firm in Dakar, where she led the launch of its design and audiovisual production studio and produced a bilingual podcast series that has garnered over a million views. Now back in consulting, she serves as Digital Communications Manager for Saaraba Editions and works with various international firms.

Muna’s journey is marked by a commitment to using communication as a tool to build cultural bridges, foster understanding, and highlight the powerful stories that shape our world.
