Originally from Ireland, Stephen pursued studies in architecture at the University of Edinburgh, which equipped him with a solid foundation in design principles and architectural theory. His passion for geometry and modularity is evident in his work, drawing inspiration from both natural forms and mathematical concepts. Stephen's career trajectory includes working with several prestigious architectural firms before co-founding Fundamental Berlin with Gunnar Rönsch. Their collaboration is characterized by a mutual interest in exploring the intersection of art, architecture, and product design, often utilizing innovative materials and sustainable practices.
